Folks might remember that I posted a note about 10 weeks ago telling how I'd bought a 1977 KZ650 with hard luggage and a big fairing.
Last week I decided to sell the KZ650, and the new buyer took it away last night.
There was nothing wrong with it, but even after 10 weeks I still found that I preferred riding my Savage 650 over the KZ. I just couldn't get used to the much heavier feel of the KZ - it was okay on the highway but I found that a 560 pound motorcycle is really a handful in stop-and-go city traffic. I managed to sell it for $1100, $200 more than I originally paid for it, so I don't feel too bad. :-)
